Today’s NYT has an interesting article on the rise of diabetes in India.

    Right. Thanks, Bez. Particularly ridiculous about that article was the mention of a sliding scale of savings which increases with the weight of the customer.

    I was going to post a link to a review in New England Journal of Medicine about the “Gates Phenomenon”, but then I realized there must be hundreds of articles to read every week, and there is no reason to pick this one in particular to post.

    More relevant to your posting, though, is an article from this month’s edition of the American Journal of Public Health, which I stumbled upon when I was searching for proof that there are, in fact, a number of public health periodicals out there. Apparently I can’t post a link in a comment, so for now I’ll make a new post.
