Hey folks
I’m going to be awol (some more) over the summer. Med school starts in the fall and I expect to get back on track with the blog then. I may post occasionally and all other contributors may post as well. I’m just headed out for a bit of a vacation.
Til then!

    Hi, Michael,
I just published a post on my blog, http://www.deepbrazil.com, that might interest you for this website. The Brazilian Ministry of Health released today a study in depth about the state of the population’s well being, which is changing very quick, for the good and for the bad.
    Take care,
    Regina

    Dear Michael,

I’m not sure if you are the person to contact re this. On the 25th April 2010 the global community will mark World Malaria Day 2010.

We were wondering if you would give your support to this day by downloading and displaying the World Malaria Day Button on the Brown for Global Health blog alongside the link, in order to further raise awareness of the day.

The World Malaria Day button virtual campaign began in 2008 and is a collaborative initiative with the Roll Back Malaria Partnership. It can be viewed on all websites, blogs and social networking profiles. The aim is to have it on as many websites as possible by World Malaria Day – the 25th of April 2010. By clicking on the button, visitors are directed to both to the World Malaria Day civil society website (www.worldmalariaday.org) and RBM’s World Malaria Day homepage (http://www.rollbackmalaria.org/worldmalariaday ).

You can download the button at http://www.worldmalariaday.org/add_button.cfm

We do hope you will be able to take the time to show your support in this way. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me!

    Many Thanks

    Sarah Pickwick
